Metric definitions
Definitions for common Talivia metrics.
Use these definitions when reading reports.
Visitors
Unique visitor/session context counted for the selected date range.
Visits
Visit instances within sessions. A returning visitor can create more than one visit over time.
Page views
Tracked page view events.
Events
Custom events sent by data-talivia-event or window.talivia.track('event-name').
Revenue
Money from attributed payments in the selected range. Refunds can reduce or reverse revenue while keeping the original paid context visible.
Spend
Revenue connected to an individual session.
Conversion rate
The share of visitors or sessions that produced the selected conversion outcome. In revenue views, this usually means paid conversion.
Revenue per visitor
Revenue divided by visitors for the selected date range.
Bounce rate
The share of visits with limited engagement. Interpret it with page intent: a docs page and a checkout page should not be judged the same way.
Visit duration
Estimated time spent during a visit based on activity.
Estimated revenue
Used for search keyword reports. Search providers report query clicks by page, not exact query-to-session revenue, so Talivia allocates organic page revenue across query clicks.
